Why We Built The Backcountry Waas ALLIED Down Pant

To eliminate the risk of being too cold to ride from first chair to last, we built the Backcountry Waas ALLIED Down Pant to keep us warm and focused on seeking out fresh stashes of powder. The 800-fill responsibly sourced down insulation provides exceptional warmth and comfort in even the coldest weather conditions, and the performance knit gusset, side panels, and cuffs, which feature a moisture-wicking brushed backing, create an ideal fit with optimal mobility. We even added two zippered hand pockets to ensure we can bring every essential with us during our day on the mountain.

The pants are as warm as expected, but I also love the fit. The length is perfect for me and I expect these pants to be a go to this upcoming winter.

Great pants,poor customer service/policy

I bought these pants a couple days prior to an early Memorial Day sale. I inquired about a price adjustment and apparently the policy has changed. Considering how much of my hard earned money I’ve spent at Backcountry and how you all have made adjustments in the past, this was very disappointing. On top of that, the customer service was very poor.

I love these pants when I'm going up snowboarding! They're great while you cook breakfast, waiting for the lifts to start spinning although I get too hot when I wear them under my ski pants- but I'm fairly acclimated to the cold at this point. Awesome for cold days in the tailgate lot, and even just walking the dogs in winter.

I’m 5’8” and finding shorter insulated pants are challenging. These are dope. Got a medium, fit like a dream and don’t have my pants dragging in the snow

Perfect
Thank you! For skiing and riding these are perfect. No one cares what they look like and best they aren’t full length and tapered lol. Full length zipper would be sweet to be able to put on while outside.
