I had high hopes for these; the regular Nevaeh shorts are my favorites so I figured after a bit of weight gain that the stretchy/soft waistband on these would be ideal. Unfortunately they’re just a little TOO stretchy and soft. They fit my hips and thighs well, but the waistband just doesn’t hold the shorts up where they need to stay; they keep sliding down.

Mountain biking shorts
For those that buy padded bike shorts, the fit was standard, not too small. My first pair with a liner and they seem good.

Size
Size was way off, way too small. I have same brand, same size, that fit fine. These? Sausage casing at best.

Love not having a button/zipper
I love these shorts because they have a stretchy waistband and side pockets. So comfy. The liners work fine for me, despite the lack of padding. They run a little small but I like things loose.

Could they be more unflattering?
These are awful - someone's review said the liner was like wearing an adult diaper and that definitely came to mind when I tried them on. I don't really expect biking shorts to necessarily be flattering, but these are just horrible. I thought it would be like wearing compression shorts under and the shorts over would be less form fitting, but the two together just do not work as I had hoped.

Horribly uncomfortable
The insert with the padding is really uncomfortable. I actually had a difficult time figuring out how the insert was supposed to fit on my body. The outer layer and the insert layer are completely incompatible, and the padding feels like wearing a giant (and full!) diaper. Going back, pronto.
