Ridgeline Splitboard delivers stability, float, and confidence for big mountain touring

What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:

"This board gives me confidence no matter the conditions. It’s stiff enough to charge steep lines but still playful enough for everyday missions. The camber underfoot holds strong on firm snow, and the setback shape makes it float great in powder. It’s become my go-to split for everything from Colorado steeps to spring corn tours."

Who It’s For

Advanced All-Mountain and Freeride Splitboarders:

The Ridgeline is designed for riders who want one splitboard that can handle diverse backcountry terrain. It’s best for those with the experience to handle steeps, cliffs, and variable snow but who also want a reliable daily driver for everything from powder laps to spring missions.

What It’s For

Steep Lines, Big Tours, and Versatile Backcountry Riding:

With a tapered directional shape and camber-dominant profile, the Ridgeline is built for control in technical terrain and float in powder. The mid-stiff flex keeps it stable on fast descents, while Karakoram UltraClips 2.1 lock it together for a secure, responsive ride.

Why We Like It

Control, Float, and Versatility in One Split:

We like the Ridgeline because it feels just as trustworthy on steep alpine faces as it does weaving through trees. The sustainably sourced core blends poplar, paulownia, and bamboo for a lightweight but damp ride. A sintered Durasurf 4001 base keeps the speed high, while the tough nylon topsheet sheds snow and resists wear. It’s a splitboard we trust as both a big-line charger and a daily touring driver.

If you like to go fast and charge hard, the Ridgeline is the board for you. I wanted this board to be my big line board but still be able to handle a variety of conditions. It does just that. Pow, chop, corn, etc this board rips. Does great on the uphill and even better on the downhill. Grab this board, you won’t be disappointed!

All-time Favorite & Legit Daily Driver

The first day I took the Weston Ridgeline splitboard (158) out on a moderately deep pow day, I was pleasantly surprised by the ability to carve through the white crystals while maintaining stability from edge to edge. With a bit of speed, I feel like I don't get as bogged down as with other all-mountain boards through a variety of pow. When it comes to Colorado's steeps, whether it's fresh pow or firm and chattery, this board gives me more confidence than any other deck in my quiver. It skins great on the skintrack and holds up well as a rockboard for early season shark hits. I'm not going to bore you with the details of the board layup, but the mix of poplar, paulownia, and bamboo provides that great balance between weight and dampening and comes out to a very practical mid-stiff flex. If it's Japan-deep and you're looking to get as much float as possible, just get a Japow. In every other scenario - this is an excellent daily driver. The Weston Ridgeline splitboard slays.

This board has performed incredibly in all conditions I have taken it in. I bought it for a spring/big mission board, but I also found that it's a pretty sweet daily driver. It has great edge hold and likes to go fast! It floats well, although I haven't ridden it in more than 1' of fresh. It's directional, but I can still ride it switch and have a blast. You won't be disappointed with this ride! I was so stoked on it I bought a solid version for the resort this winter.

Daily driver for the big mountains

This splitboard is my daily driver. With a mid-stiff flex and setback stance, it rules in powder and charging hard down steep lines. While it's great for big mountain freeride, it's also agile enough for shredding tight couloirs and feels right at home jump turn after jump turn. It's versatility allows me to ride it on deep days for big turns in powder and also ride away effortlessly from cliff drops. If you're looking for a directional board that can handle it all, the Ridgeline is for you.

This is my go to board for big days in the big mountains. When I guide bigger mountains like Baker, Shasta or the Eastern Sierras I need a board that can handle Steeps and Speed but also variable conditions. Anything from wind sweep alpine ice to plastered steep pow turns and this is the board that can do it. I've had so much fun on this board in the big mountains it's also become one of my go to boards for everyday riding as well. I own it in both Split and Solid.
