Why We Like The Volkl M7 Mantra Ski
Back with a quick update, the Volkl M7 Mantra Ski retains its power and control while amplifying maneuverability for all mountain skiers of all kinds. We love that they retained the versatile 96mm width and familiar rocker profile that thrives inbounds on groomers and in some fresh snow as well. New this year is a reimagined titanal laminate and carbon stringer system that surrounds the multi-layer wood core to achieve the aforementioned maneuverability without hurting the Mantra's famous power.

Great Ski Poor Quality
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
The Volkl Mantra is a great big mountain ski that shines in various snow conditions except deep powder, heavy spring snow and tight terrain. It likes to be driven hard in open terrain without the speed limit and will slice through crud like a samurai sword. The issue with the ski its longevity due to potential delamination which has been a problem since M5. I would caution anyone from owning these skis outside of their warranty period.
