Why We Like The Under Armour Coldgear Armour Legging
The Under Armour Coldgear Armour Legging is built for those of us who don't let the cold keep us cooped up inside and who push ourselves in frigid temperatures to make sure we're hitting our daily and weekly goals. The dual-layer material provides comfortable warmth as the mercury drops and stretch-mesh panels offer strategic ventilation, so we stay comfortable on the move. The stretchy, moisture-wicking fabric is designed to fit like a second skin, offering total freedom of movement so we can push through the final mile of our run without ever realizing it's there.

Improved construction
~3-4 years I upgraded my cold gear leggings and those failed after a year with holes in the crotch. These are an improved construction and no holes so far.

Comfortable base layer
Fabric is soft and comfortable, good weight. Bought size larger because my size was uncomfortably tight

Great for Skiing
Got this gear to wear on those super cold days under the snow pants. They are thin and skin forming enough to not impact the fit of the boot along the lower leg (big deal for performance skiing) and warm enough to keep you on the mountain.

Not a good fit for short muscular guys
Bought these for my son who is about 150lbs but only 5'4"... the ankles were too tight and he couldn't pull them on very easily The waist was way too big. He does better with the 3/4 length with his build and height but they were not available in the cold gear style.

Are these leggings ColdGear® 2.0? it is not indicated in the description. Is it good as a base layer for skiing? I also saw some of your other products describes as base layer while this one as leggings.

I want to buy/wear white Cold Gear Leggings without shorts. Is the fabric heavy enough that you can't see through it at all--even if wearing dark underwear? Thank you.

Are these men's leggings designed to be worn with shorts on top? Are shorts primarily for modesty? Are there specific recommended shorts that will not ride down because of the material?

Do men normally wear shorts (or something) over these? I don’t mean for functional warmth, but they kind of look like underwear at the top.
