T-Bone Knee Guard brings low-bulk comfort and impact protection to park days and enduro laps
What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:
"These are my go-to for trail and shuttle days. They stay in place, don’t bunch when pedaling, and still give legit coverage when I take a spill. Comfortable enough to leave on all ride."
When we’re pedaling up for one more lap or charging into rocky lines, the Troy Lee Designs T-Bone Knee Guard keeps our knees protected without slowing us down. These low-profile pads deliver the comfort and mobility we want for all-day trail rides with the impact protection we count on for bike park days and enduro hits.
The slip-on design is backed with flexible, articulated EVA foam that conforms to the knee and absorbs impacts while maintaining airflow and movement. Reinforced panels add durability where we need it most, and the stretch mesh backing helps keep everything securely in place without pinching or sliding. It’s the kind of knee pad we throw on and forget about—until we’re glad it’s there.

Great Pads
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
- Size Bought:
- XS/S
I normally wear medium sized pads but I actually had to size down on these because I had to fully extend the straps to fit and I was worried it could slip. I've had G-form and Fox slip on style knee pads and they slip down a lot during a ride and it's annoying, also they don't hold up very well on bigger crashes . First wore these on the Whole Enchilada and these TLD T-Bone pads has straps that definitely helps prevent slipping and I don't even notice these pads during a climb. Has decent padding on strategic parts of the knee. Really liking these knee pads so far.

This is my second pair of T Bones and I swear by them. My last pair has been going strong (because I fall a LOT) for two years now... The only thing to be advised about is washing. Close the straps all the way to fully cover the Velcro on both pads before you throw into the wash! My last pads had to have the Velcro replaced because it wouldn?t stick anymore and I?ve gotten much smarter now. After some time, they will smell even if you wash them...it?s the name of the game. Bath water and baking soda did the trick. Will never wear different pads!!

These offer good protection in a lightweight easy to pedal package. The straps don?t bind and they don?t shimmy down or bunch up. Like them so much I even use them for skateboarding.

Great knee pads
After purchasing several sets of pads for my son I finally found one that isn’t so bulky. He was getting bruised bad on inside of knees while riding and these were the perfect solution
