OnShore Rooftop Rod Carrier hauls 4 fully rigged rods with secure, weather-resistant protection
What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:
"The OnShore has totally changed how I fish. I can hit the water the minute I arrive—no setup, no wasted time. It’s rugged, holds four full-length rods, and the griplock system keeps everything organized and protected even on rough roads."
With the Thule OnShore Rooftop Rod Carrier, we roll up to the water rigged and ready. Designed to securely transport up to four fully assembled fishing rods up to 12 feet in length, the OnShore saves us valuable time when we’d rather be casting than rigging. Built tough with thermo-formed ABS and padded for protection, it’s the on-vehicle storage solution that keeps our tackle secure and organized from driveway to dock.
A foam-lined front closure and soft rubber weather seal keep rods stable and protected, while internal griplock hardware separates reels and adjusts to different setups. It fits most reel styles up to 7000 series and mounts easily on almost any roof rack. Whether we’re headed out for dawn patrol at a hidden stream or road-tripping across state lines, the OnShore keeps our gear safe, dry, and always ready to fish.

Thule OnShore
The OnShore has some features that could use improving. The area where the reels attach is very hard plastic and could damage the reel during transport/bouncing if doing any off-road travel. Foam padding should be included. Also, there is no "quick release" to take the onshore off, without removing the entire roof rack, making automated car washes impossible. Please add a quick release feature!
