It did not work as
It did not work as I was trying to repair an REI pad. I thought they were made by Thermarest

Not your fault. I had hoped the valve would fit my REI camp bed 3. 5 but it was too small. I’d love to know how to find one that fits.

Meh
I replaced the valve with this kit, but it did not work and kept leaking, which was unfortunate because I didn’t have a good mat for my camping trip

Does not work
Sadly, the hole left by the old valve is broken get around than the classic replacement.

Worked Great.
I thought my 25yr old thermarest pad was done when the valve accidentally got smashed in the tailgate. Repairing my old thermarest was actually really easy with the valve repair kit. I’ve only spent one night on it since fixing it, but it seems ready for another 25 years around the PNW.
