Wasatch Pro 20 Sleeping Bag pairs warmth, packability, and comfort for all kids’ adventures

What Our Gearhead Experts Are Saying:

"This bag is the go-to for family camping—Heatseeker Eco insulation really keeps the cold out but stays light and never bulky, and the roomy mummy cut means there’s space to wriggle without losing warmth. The included stuff sack is durable and easy for kids to repack on their own, which is a huge bonus for teaching camp skills."

Designed for everything from backyard sleepouts to real camping trips, the Wasatch Pro 20 Sleeping Bag delivers reliable warmth with lightweight, compressible Heatseeker Eco insulation, and a soft polyester shell. The roomy mummy shape maximizes comfort without sacrificing efficiency, while the simple full-length zipper is easy for young campers. Thoughtful details like a durable stuff sack and tough construction make it ready for kid-size wear and tear, year after year.

Very Comfy

Perfect for car camping. Very comfortable for casual nights in a tent.

Crazy First Sleeping Bag Review

This North Face Wasatch Pro kids sleeping bag is a winner. I've been using North Face bags since the time when they were still owned by Douglas Tompkins. The sleeping bags never faileth. I have two of the Kazoo series and my wife has one. They work perfect for us. So I assumed that a big old bulky, synthetic kids bag at 20°F would be perfect for my 3.5 y/o little lady while camping in 45°F weather near Capitol Reef. She has always seen mom and dad camping in sleeping bags. She was thrilled when she saw her favorite stuffed animal sleeping in it on the living room floor after dinner one night. She jumped right in. The colors are kid perfect. The bag is pretty cozy. But I did need to put one of her blankies in with her, just for that extra warmth. Since she is still small, I stuffed another blanket in the bottom just past her feet so the mass of dead air down there wouldn't get cold. Not sure I would take a kid camping in colder weather. If that was the case, I would probably need a warmer bag. But I think that is true for most of us with the sleeping bag ratings. 20°F bags generally mean you'll survive a 20°F night, but be pretty comfy at 40°F.
