What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:

"I’ve been logging long trail days in the Vectiv Enduris 4, and they’re an incredible combo of cushioned support and responsive drive. The rocker geometry keeps me rolling forward effortlessly, and the updated fit hugs my midfoot so there’s no sliding around on technical descents. If you’re chasing big miles and crave stability without feeling weighed down, this shoe nails it."

When our training plans call for back-to-back long runs, The North Face Vectiv Enduris 4 Trail Running Shoe keeps us moving strong and steady. The brand’s VECTIV 3.0 TPU plate system and DREAM nitrogen-TPU midsole create a dynamic feel that powers us through endless switchbacks and rolling ridgelines. We love how the rocker geometry propels each stride forward while reducing fatigue over hours of variable terrain.

Every detail of the Vectiv Enduris 4 is dialed for trail commitment. The engineered dual-warp mesh upper balances breathability with structure, and the improved heel fit and integrated tongue wings lock in a secure feel. A high-traction SURFACE CTRL outsole with 4mm lugs grips confidently across slick roots, loose gravel, and everything in between.

The product received generally positive reviews, with customers praising the comfort, cushioning, and traction. Many found the shoes well-suited for long runs and technical trails. However, some users experienced issues with the fit, noting a narrow toe box or discomfort from the side wings. A few also felt the shoes were a bit stiff or lacked softness for longer distances. Great trail running training shoe and for longer races

I've used this shoe on a few training runs upto 20km and then raced a 100km trail race in hot, dry conditions this weekend. The shoe was great and comfortable the whole time, no rubbing or blisters. I didn't feel the plate either like some other users have commented but I do have fairly narrow feet.

My current go to shoe!

Really like this shoe a lot!. Id say they were 80% perfect out of the box. I had to try some different lacing techniques. I also did a little trimming on the tongue. I have a high instep and the tongue was digging into my feet. Also the nylon plate near the first metatarsal I think comes up a little high so I trimmed that up a bit. Overall I love the cushion on these, the dream foam is amazing and love the traction. Also Im probably 100 miles and their is absolutely no signs of wear. Hoping to get several hundred miles out of these guys!

A solid contender for backpacking / Hiking

I recently took the North Face Vective Enduris shoe on an unforgettable adventure while hiking the Harding Ice Field in Alaska, and I'm impressed with their performance. Right off the bat, I appreciated how well they handled gravel paths. The traction is solid, providing a confident grip that made my hike enjoyable. When I encountered snow, the shoes performed adequately, allowing me to navigate through the terrain without too much trouble. One of the standout features for me is the overall feel of the shoe. They have a great balance, and I love the sensation of being pushed forward with each step, making my hike feel more efficient and fluid. However, I did notice some limitations in side stability when tackling more technical terrain, especially on rocky sections. The shoes felt a bit less secure, which made me a bit cautious. Overall, the North Face Vective Enduris shoes are a solid choice for hikers looking for comfort and performance on a variety of terrains, though they may not be the best for very technical routes. I'd recommend them for anyone who enjoys hiking and wants a shoe that supports a natural stride.

Highly recommend.

Really really happy with these shoes, especially after a few runs. The plate creates a really nice heel to toe roll and has noticeable snappiness. The foam is decent and seems well tuned for all day adventures. So far, my max time in them is 3:30 of big climbs and descents and my feet were happy the whole time. About to spend an entire day in them on a long wilderness circuit and feel confident they'll perform. If I were to change one thing it would be to use a more flexible mesh in the toe box to open it up a bit and there's something a bit wonky about the fit for the first 1-2 runs before they're broken in (almost like the ankle collar isn't quite high enough?).

Loved for hiking.

These were worn on my recent trip to Hawaii hiking. Omg they were surprisingly comfortable! Almost makes me want to buy 2 more pair to make sure I don't go without! As a woman, I find men's sizes to be more comfortable width wise and I did size up .5

So comfortable, all terrain, one quiver shoe

This shoe does it all. Long days. Fast days. Very stable on technical terrain. It's a big shoe. I had the Enduris 3 and didn't care for it, felt cheap. But this is a beast! I'm running 50 miles most long weekends (Fri to Mon) in Tahoe on the PCT and TRT and this is my shoe. I'm using it 80% of the time and the Prodigio Pro the rest. If it's a longer day, this is my shoe. I love the foam, the stability, the grip. So comfortable.

Very poor quality, I will not buy these shoes again

This is absurd - less than a month of use, I haven't even taken these shoes to the mountains and they're already falling apart.

Disappointed in this iteration

I've had all 4 versions of the Enduris, and this one, for me, is a total miss. The toe box is far too narrow... On the uphills they were ok, but no way would my feet survive on the downs... brought these to Broken Arrow where I unfortunately had to buy a sponsors shoe to have piece of mind on the 23K. Again, I am a huge fan of TNF and just went through a pair of the 300's, wish I would have bought those again... maybe go 1/2 size up from your usual TNF sizing?

Love the VECTIV's

I've been running and racing in VECTIV's since the VECTIV 2 and consistently love them, the fit is excellent for my feet and the 4's are so comfortable under foot, a dream to run trails on.
