Part of The North Face’s elite alpine collection, this parka is designed to perform on technical terrain and during long stints above treeline. The ultralight 800-fill ProDown™ insulation provides incredible warmth with hydrophobic performance, keeping us insulated even when damp. Its CLOUD DOWN construction—an offset-baffle system—minimizes cold spots and maximizes loft without unnecessary weight.

Built from rugged Pertex® Y Fuse ripstop nylon with a non-PFC DWR finish, the Summit Pumori blocks wind and light snow while standing up to repeated use. The climbing-helmet-compatible hood adjusts quickly with a single rear cinch, and the stretch-knit cuffs with FLASHDRY™ hug our wrists to seal in warmth. We keep small essentials in the secure-zip hand pockets or stash gloves and gear in the two roomy internal mesh drop-in pockets. Whether belaying, bivvying, or navigating summit pushes, this parka is made to move through the mountains.
