For alpine starts, exposed belays, and high camps deep in the alpine, the Summit CLOUD DOWN AMK LT Pant is the ultimate insulating layer we rely on when every ounce and degree matters. The North Face built these pants with CLOUD DOWN construction, reducing cold spots and keeping critical warmth consistent across long, frigid missions. Designed for streamlined layering, they’re packed with responsibly sourced 1000-fill ProDown™ insulation and finished with a water-repellent NANOREFLECT™ shell that radiates heat back to the body.

We count on Spectra® ripstop at the lower legs for added durability where crampons and rock take their toll, and articulated patterning and a stretch gusset offer mobility for steep bootpacks or climbing transitions. Full-length side zips make for easy on/off over layers, and the integrated waistband system ensures a secure fit, whether worn alone or clipped to the Summit AMK Vest.
