Great piece, zipper also blew out.

Love this piece. TNF needs to fix the zippers though. Mine blew out in the first two months. Previous Ventrix version I still have with no quality issues.

Great jacket, poor zipper quality

I have 4 of these jackets. After the weak zipper failed on my first jacket , I take my new Ventrix jackets to my tailor and have her install a heavy duty YKK nylon zipper before my first use of my Ventrix jackets, Never had a problem since. I love these jackets! They are a perfect mid layer when skiing, hunting or fishing. The are a perfect lightweight outer layer to wear in our freezing San Francisco summers!

Perfect Everyday Mountain Hoodie

Familiarity:
I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

Bought this for my partner and it’s become his go-to layer—he wears it every day, whether he’s running errands in town or skiing. The Ventrix insulation and breathable panels keep him warm without overheating, and he loves how the stretch fabric moves with him on the slopes. The helmet-compatible hood and no-shoulder-seam design make it super comfortable with a pack or helmet. Best part: it transitions perfectly from mountain days to casual wear, so it’s always in rotation

Disappointed

I read someone else's comments and had the same issue. Loved everything about this, but the zipper broke after a year...spendy item to only last a year...disappointed.

Extremely versatile

I love this jacket. Can comfortably wear it walking around town in the high 30s (F) with a t shirt on underneath, or in the mid 60s and you don't get too hot. Never been rock climbing in my life, but this is the perfect travel jacket. The zipper is a little weird who cares.

Terrible zipper!

I use this as a layering piece. I am on my fourth jacket as the zipper has broken 3 other times. It is very disappointing that it happens in the middle of the season and then the warranty process takes so long.

Perfect midweight jacket

The cut, design, and fit of this jacket is perfect. Comfortable and super-versatile. I'll use it as a midlayer on cold ski days, and an outer layer around town.

Would not buy for outdoor activities

Ive owned this jacket for two years and the zipper has broken twice already. Kicker is they broke in an office setting and not during an outdoor activity. Warmth is good and wind blocking is good tho
