Here's what customers have to say
The product has received very positive reviews overall, with customers praising its warmth, comfort, and style. Many customers say they would purchase the jacket again. However, some have noted issues with the Velcro, which can cause wear and tear, as well as concerns about the sleeve length and sizing. Despite these mixed opinions, the product appears to be a high-quality and stylish winter jacket.

Not great
Where do I start? The parka is warm and well-insulated for cold weather, but it suffers from serious design flaws. The Velcro at the cuffs gradually tears them apart, almost as if it were a built-in self-destruct feature. Over time, the cuffs become completely unusable. Worse still, while it's normal for your hands to feel dry or cracked in the cold, the pocket zippers on this jacket are incredibly abrasive. I've actually cut my hands multiple times just reaching into the pockets - to the point where I avoid wearing this jacket altogether. Instead, I've switched back to other gear from The North Face that's treated me much better. I don't know if newer versions have addressed these issues, but my experience with this generation of the McMurdo Parka has been disappointing and frustrating.

Not great

Love the jacket
Great jacket - ultimately had to return because of a more affordable option. But the fit and warmth is great.

Jacket came ripped
Great jacket for the most part. Upon opening it the was a slit across the front of the jacket. Tried to exchange it was told I can get a refund and repurchase! Not worth the hassle, sadly it was a gift !

Great jacket but a design flaw with the velcro.
I like this jacket but I really wanted to love it. It fits perfectly and keeps me warm but who I do not know who designed the velcro with those cloth sleeves. The velcro tears them up making the jacket look much older than it is. The velcro also catches on the sleeve often when the jacket is open and when zipping up making it very annoying. North Face really needs to do a redesign. Once again the jacket is great otherwise but I still wish I had listened to other reviews who mentioned this issue before I made the purchase. I would have likely thought twice.

Miss the old model
The jacket is warm, but the Velcro near the zipper often gets caught on the sleeve, causing damage to the wrist area and tearing the fabric.
