Why We Like The Ceptor Jacket

Sleek, simple, and suitable for snowsports, the Ceptor Jacket gets us on the mountain without anything holding us back. The North Face's DryVent shell repels flying flakes and snow spray, and it's breathable to boot. Classic features including underarm vents, a powder skirt, and adjustable cuffs keep us comfortable when we're skinning uphill and surfing through powder, and the zippered pass pocket features a clip-in goggle wipe for fog-free resort riding.

Perfect Shell Layer!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this bc my boyfriend purchased the men's version last year and loved it. I wore it for the first time a couple weeks ago in below zero, snowy, windy conditions and felt perfectly comfortable the whole day! Love all the pockets, vent zippers and adjustable features. It is pretty expensive but totally worth it if you have the money.

Love this jacket as much as my husbands loves his for 30+ yr

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband purchased this similar jacket sometime in the early 90s. I teased him because he still wears it. I purchased this jacket for a recent dog sledding trip to Montana. Love, love, love. I stayed warm and dry. Repels water and keeps the wind out. Are used to wear another expensive brand that starts with the letter P. I found hypocrisy in that brand because they were critical of petroleum when their clothing is made from this resource. I've come back to North face and I'm so delighted I made this choice. Recently purchased several items and all have exceeded my expectations. Great jacket and I hope to have it for as many years as my husband has enjoyed his.

Excellent skiing / backcountry shell.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Excellent skiing / backcountry shell. Has a sewn-in powder skirt and a nice amount of pockets for a womens jacket. Nicely placed, as well. Length is perfect for a tailored, yet functional look. I wish the pit zips were longer, as these are kind of hard to reach, but other than that this is one of nicest jackets by TNF. Color gets alot of compliments too.

Great Jacket for any use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fits true to size. Nice and roomy and not too fitted. Lots of pockets in all the right places. I wear it snowboarding with a layer underneath and it has great wind protection and I stay completely dry. It's the perfect length in the back, so greatfor the chairlift.
