Not sure
I have been on the hunt for rain pants that fit and with pockets. I was excited about these as tried on a medium in a store and thought the small would be perfect so ordered them. Unfortunately the small is too short. I am 5'8 and wear size 4 lulu bottoms. They also don't seem to move well when bending my knees ( I am not sure I see the "articulated knee" functionality.) I was surprised to see a mesh lining as may have missed that in the description. It stops just below the knee and so this could be why it is not super comfy if too short as gets caught in my knee bend. I like the side bottom zipper and Velcro strap idea but won't reach my shoes so not super useful for me. I am sad to say I may need to return them. Am not sure if sizing is just inconsistent ( based on reviews), to try to get another medium to see or will need to continue the hunt.

Repurchasing after 10 good years!
From formerly avid hiker, now a mom to two toddlers, these pants have been with me through countless rainy-day adventures. They are super lightweight, and pack well. I had mine for 10 years before the inside began to delaminate - can't complain! They've been put through the wringer. Thrilled to see they're still available.

I would buy this product again!
I bought these pants a few years ago not realizing how invaluable they would become. I wear them when walking outside, when the weather is cold or wet. They have stood the test of time and still look relatively new. I will definitely purchase them again when this pair wears out. Unfortunately for me, I couldn't find women's sizes at the time so ended up with a men's size which isn't quite made for a woman's proportions, however they were still a great buy!
