Amazing shorts with a poor waistband
I want to love these shorts but find myself reaching for Lululemon’s Fast and Free instead. These shorts are fantastic and everything they advertise. They are lightweight, breathable, and practically disappear into the background as you run making you feel like you aren’t wearing any shorts. However, I HATE the waistband. The waistband on version 1 of the shorts rolled over and became uncomfortable and the second waistband on version 2 (current model) is incredible thick making the shorts sit higher on my waist. I still run in both the 5-inch and 3-inch inseam but the issues with the waistband keep me from ordering more pairs and running in them daily. I wish they’d update the waistband to sit like the session shorts. Additionally, I find the sizing to be interesting. I’m 5’5” and 150lbs with a 29” waist. I should be in a small according to their sizing chart but the smalls are incredibly tight down the thighs. I’ve sized up to the mediums to fit the thighs better which results in pulling the drawstring a little tighter than I’d like as it prevents me from easily accessing the gel pouches on longer runs. Lastly, my personally preference is a true split short that is loose around the legs with a 3 inch inseam. Overall, shorts really are great for distance running and hot days on the track. I, excited to try version 3 when they are released and if you can get the sizing right for your body you’ll love the shorts! If they fix the waistband it’ll be a 5 star review and they’d be the only shorts I’d wear.

Best Running Shorts
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Recently I decided it was time to upgrade my kit. Found these shorts, ordered one pair, and tested them for two weeks… they’re the best! Perfect fit and features. The fabric is perfect and the shirt loop is an added plus. Not to mention the look great. I don’t wear athletic wear out and about but I would consider it with these as an option. I have since ordered 3 more pairs!

Good short, bad glue
My favorite shorts, but the pocket in the back is heat glued on. The zipper fell off in less than a year. Most of my shorts from this company experience a failure on the zippers. They really need to stitch them in, instead of heat gluing.

Impressive quality!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was my first purchase with TenThousand and I had high expectations from everything I read, and I wasn't disappointed. The reviews lived up to my expectations and I was very impressed with the quality of the clothing in particular the Rep Shorts. I also love the color selection and I would definitely buy from them again!

Second pair of distant shorts
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like the Distant shorts for running. They are very light weight with the right amount of control and comfort where it counts. The pocket in the back works great for a key or something smaller.

Distance line runs small
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you have any amount of muscle on your body the distance line will not fit you.

They're fine.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] They run smaller than the other shorts I've ordered from tt. They look good, feel fine, but I'm worried about overall durability after having to cut a loose thread day 1. My older interval shorts are still going, but have loose threads around the drawstring hole and get tangled in the drawstring. Hoping the same doesn't happen with these.

Greatest Shorts
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Distance Shorts are a top pick for serious runners and hybrid athletes. They’re lightweight, breathable, and stay put during long runs or CrossFit WODs. The fit is secure without being tight, and the optional liner adds solid support. Features like a zip pocket and side split boost performance without adding bulk. After months of intense use, they still look new—no fraying or sagging. If you want durable, high-performance shorts that move with you, these are worth it.

The best shorts
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the distance shorts. They’re super light weight and comfortable for any length run. I also just do a Hyrox in them and they were perfect for that as well. The back pocket fits my phone perfectly and the dedicated storage was great for gels on race day.
