Used for cycling
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times

I have been using these gloves for about a month. I had an old pair of Swix XC gloves that I wore for years winter cycling in the southeastern US coastal area. They were great. These are different. More insulation and a longer cuff. I don't like them as much as the older models, but these are warmer and work well.

The standard for a warmer nordic glove
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
- Size Bought:
- large
These are the second pair of Star XC gloves I've bought, and my first pair became my go to pair since the late aughts for Nordic skiing on cooler days. They've never let me down. They are warm enough for 20-25 degrees down to about mid single digits. However, I probably wouldn't use them on days much warmer. They lasted a long time, and the only reason I bought a new pair is that the original pair were lost in a move. As far as I'm concerned they are the standard for nordic gloves.

SWIX Gloves
Gloves look great; fit well; and are warm. Seriously consider buying a pair.

Not as warm as I’d hoped…
I’ve had these gloves for several years now. One might be able to successfully tap or swipe on a phone, more often than not, I am unsuccessful. This morning I took my usual walk around the block (almost one mile). Sun was not quite up, 30 degrees Fahrenheit, swinging my arms in a normal gait. The gloves are better than nothing, but my hands were still cold from start to finish. I am beginning my L. L. Bean search for something warmer.
