Good, but use caution
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
I’ve been using this almost daily for the last 5 months. It does a good job, once assembled. However, the design of the 3 supports makes it fairly easy to know off a mug, like a Yeti, while brewing. I’ve done that multiple times, where I’ve bumped it with the kettle and it slid off the mug and spilled hot, wet coffee grounds over the counter and floor (and occasionally my hand). That part is frustrating. But if I exercise a little caution while brewing, it works well. I have used V60 paper filters in it with great success and have been using a Coava Kone metal filter lately. If you have a wide-mouthed mug or sierra cup that this would sit in more securely, I’d really recommend it. When using on regular travel mugs or cups, just be careful that it doesn’t slide off.

High Quality, Light, Packs Small & $
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
This is a splurge. Other products do the job and are cheaper. I wanted the best and was willing to pay extra for the Snow Peak quality, and I am satisfied with it.

Purchase based on Brand Name
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
Bought this a month ago because Snow Peak products are awesome. Unfortunately this item is way too complicated to assemble and use. Not good for pour over coffee brews.
