Love the upgrades
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
Forefront 3 MIPS has been my go-to for technical trail riding this season. The ventilation is outstanding - no more overheating on long climbs like I experienced with my old helmet. The MIPS and Koroyd protection gives me confidence on sketchy descents without feeling heavy or bulky. The BOA dial finally fits my head properly, and the sunglass storage actually works without constantly losing my shades on rough terrain

Massive Improvement over the Forefront 2
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
The Forefront 3 was well worth the wait because it is a massive improvement over the 2. The airflow is much much better, my sunglasses actually stay in place, and the fit is much more comfortable. The new BOA system removes the weird pressure points that used to give me a headache on the old Forefront 2, and also eliminates the little yellow nodes that would pull my hair when I'd take my helmet off. Make sure you double check your size though if you're moving from the 2 to the 3. I was solidly a medium in the old version, and now I could easily have sized down to a small.
