Huge hole after washing the first time
I wanted to love these. I ordered 4 pairs, and was hoping to eventually order more. Upon washing (before wearing) the first time, the seam failed and created a large hole. Unfortunately I've been traveling for work for over a month, and returned to try them just beyond the return deadline. So far, the other pairs seem ok, but I don't have a lot of confidence they will last very long. My other styles of smartwool socks are great!

My order was placed on 6/27/25. As of 7/8/25 the order has not left the Salt Lake City, its originating city. Although I received an email on 7/5/25 that it would be delivered tomorrow (7/6/25). Not impressed with your shipping process

Exactly what I was looking in a sock for exercising. Comfortable, seemingly durable, true to size fit, has all the benefits of wool too so you can wear them more than once before they need washing.

Runs small

Nice socks but run quite small. Size L is supposed to be 9-11.5 US, I'm a 10.5 US and I could barely squeeze into them. The mesh on top also doesn't seem as breathable as the Darn Tough version of this sock, definitely prefer those.

Cushy, comfie feet

These are my go-to socks for comfortable feet all day. I'm not running anymore, but I wish I'd had these when I did! These have the perfect balance of cushioning and weight, and the stretch keeps them snug and comfortable, too. I like them enough I'm buying more.
