I love my merino wool baselayers, so when it was time for new sports bras, I opted for this style to replace my mostly-nylon styles. The material is incredibly soft, and though it absorbs sweat, it dries really quickly for maximum comfort. The support is just-right. And weirdly enough, I love the pocket on the back. I don't run much, but it has been super convenient on the days that I do. My regular size (medium, 32D) was too small while I was pregnant and post-partum, so I ended up purchasing a size larger (large, 38DD). Both the mediums and the larges fit me well during these different periods.

Way too small!

According to sizing, the medium should have worked but I could barely get it on and (worse) back off again. If the larger sizes still were available, I would try again because I love Smartwool products but I would skip large and go to XL. Returning!

Hold on!

I have been buying sports bras from LL Bean for years. They continue to hold their shape and are durable.

Comfortable and definitely size up

I took the advice of commenters and sized up from my usual LLBean medium in tops, and bought the large. Fits perfectly - snug but not difficult to put on. Washes up great. I workout outside so I am loving the merino blend for the lining. I do not wear the removable cups and do not feel they are really necessary. I am 34C. Larger breasted women may find this bra not roomy enough. Also great is the longer torso design for support and for staying in place.

So comfortable!

This sports bra is the best one I’ve had! It is very comfortable and warm, it helps me with my posture! The size runs kind of small. I’m usually XS but it was too tight and therefore bought the S and it fit perfectly. Already purchased two more. Thank you LLBean for another great item.

Keep Shopping, not Smartwool usual value

NOT WOOL. I was expecting a higher value of wool. Thats the point. Sizing is horrible. Im a size 10 and the large was like an XS

Perhaps Cross Train bra construction with Wacoal

I was very pleased to find this smartwool bra. I bought a size up,Lrg vs Med according to the size chart provided. Unfortunately, the bra was so small I could barely get it on/off. Also, there is no consideration for cup size. This may work for a very small size woman but otherwise it is extremely tight. Returning.

This is my daily bra for everyday wear, hiking, travel and working out. It’s comfortable and supportive. I like this seasons a bit better than lasts, it seems a bit shorter. I am 34D and bought a small which fits great. Will buy more colours.
