I Hate These Socks!

First, I must say that I've purchased many fine products from LL Bean and have been very happy with the quality and the service. But, these socks, I find to be horrible. They have no feel like warm fuzzy wool They are thin and have a horrible synthetic nylon feel. They are very tight on my ankles and lower calf. I am not heavy. I only weigh in at 115 lbs. so it's not about size. I was expecting socks I could wear inside my heavy country/river boots, which I change in and out of, many times daily, walking dogs, feeding feral cats, visiting horse, filling bird feeders, etc., and still have them be comfortable when I change into my "house boots". NOT! I will confess, I'd already tried another brand, Darn Tough, and I hated them every bit as much. They feel horrible, leave marks on my ankles and have to be literally peeled off my feet at the end of the day. So- if you are looking for old fashioned warm, wooly socks that actually keep your feet warm and dry throughout a day of changing foot wear, being both indoors and out, and that don't leave pressure lines in your legs, these are not your best choice.
