Not up to Sims Quality

Not up to the quality I expect from Simms, jaws get dull very quickly

Blades don’t hold up

Nippers feel great but have only had them for two months and the cutters are already dull - only using for 3-5x tippet.

Simms Nippers

Lost my Abel nippers and elected to get the Simms. Good quality and well crafted. Used them couple times with no complaints. Takes little more muscle to cut thicker 20lb stuff but isnt a real problem. I usually just use my pliers in those situations. I would highly recommend for yourself or a gift.

Guide Nippers are very nice

Great nipper. Having a good set of tools is one of the little things that makes a day on the river much more enjoyable. These are super in every way. The eye clearing needle is perfect. A lot of thought was put in to designing these and it shows. Highly recommend them.

Excellent quality, really like the integrated hook eye pick. Very small though, and doesn’t cut braid well. Would recommend for fly fishing mono but not braid.

Excellent nippers

These nippers have the best feel and “action” of any other nipper I’ve tried. The build quality is great and they are sharp. Perfect size. The only reason I knocked off a star is because the blades are not interchangeable. It would be great for the price that you could purchase replacement blades, but I’m sure there’s a way to sharpen them. Overall, great nippers.
