Rugged, supportive women’s wading boot with proven traction and all-day comfort

What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:

"The Women’s Freestone Boot is built to last. It gives me the support I need when wading in fast currents, and the reinforced toe and heel add extra durability for rough riverbeds. The dual-density EVA midsole keeps my feet comfortable all day, and I love that it’s compatible with cleats and studs for even better traction. Whether I’m wading deep or scrambling over rocks, this boot keeps me stable and secure."

From fast-moving currents to rocky riverbanks, the Simms Women’s Freestone Boot provides the support, traction, and durability needed for long days on the water. The waterproof synthetic leather upper is reinforced at the toe and heel for extra protection, while a partial neoprene lining ensures comfort and easy on-off wear.

The dual-density EVA midsole cushions every step, whether wading in slippery conditions or hiking to a remote fishing spot. The updated rubber outsole is compatible with Simms Hardbite Star Cleats, Hardbite Studs, and Alumibite Star Cleats, allowing for customizable traction on slick surfaces. With a time-tested design built for stability and comfort, the Freestone Boot is ready for any wading adventure.

Awesome

The best for the garden work I do as a landscaper.

Finally a good women's wading boot.

FINALLY. Finally a women's boot that hasn't broke down on me after 1 season of use. Size up one size. . . It keeps your feet warmer not having the boot so tight. I am a full time fishing guide in Alaska and have worn all the different wading boots and these are the best ones this far.

More than a wading boot

Absolutely LOVE my SIMMS Freestone boots. Actually more comfortable warm and supportive than any boot Ive ever worn. Easily spent 6 hours in 42° river water with SIMMS light weight wool sock and was completely comfortable. Was also extremely comfortable on the hike in. I had zero trouble with traction both in and out of the water, and Oregon is slimy! Overall epic boot!

Definitely an upgrade

I love these boots. I’d been wearing my previous pair for far too long, and finally invested in a pair that would provide protection and comfort. So glad I did. This was well worth the upgrade.
