Product changing - not for better

I have worn your solarflex and bugstopper shirts for many years. I am disappointed with some of the changes you have been making. Specifically, the fabric has become heavier, and hence hotter and the sizing is smaller. Also - your shipping charges to Hawai'i are far too high. I can no longer rely on Simms for my sun shirts, I am looking for another source.

Keeps bugs away!

So far I have been very impressed with my lack of bug bites while wearing this hoody.

Itchy

Tried to return this top, but could not because it was on sale. Cannot wear it because it itches my arms.

Alaska tough

This has been my go-to top for summer in the brooks range of Alaska. The bugs up here are unbelievably bad, but the mosquitos are repelled from the bug stopper material. It’s also a great sun hoody in general, super comfy and durable with very cooling material. The brooks range can get into the 90s in the summer, so having a breathable, sun-protective top is essential. I get bit by mosquitos through all of my other sun hoody’s, so having this one that keeps me cool but also keeps the bugs away has been a game changer!!!

Great top

I loved the fit of this top. I am short and a bit wide chested, so have a hard time getting a proper fit especially inquot;sport clothingquot;. This fit perfectly. Long enough to fall over my hips, but not excessive. The sleeve with the hand guard was nice protection while I was fishing. The material was good quality and dried quickly. It was in the mid 80s and I was comfortable despite long sleeves. The bug stopping aspect seemed to work as my husband was having to use spray, but I didnt. The hood was large enough to fit comfortably and not too small or too baggy. Loved the color as well. Washed up fine in the laundry...no shrinkage noted.

Flattering and protective

Even better than pictured. Fuschia actually not overly bright, gray side panels have flattering effect

It is an OK top!

It looks like it will be a good top for the New England spring weather. It has Tick protection which is a plus t keep ticks off of me when I hike. I do not like the look of the top. It is a pink top with a gray line under both arms down to one’s hands! The grey line is weird looking. I think it would look better if it was all pink! The hood on the top also does not fit well. The shirt is true to size.

It’s a great shirt. But it’s way long for a woman who is 5’4”.
