Ultra-Fine Mesh Headnet

The 15 denier mesh of the Ultra-Fine Mosquito Head Net keeps its weight down by almost 50% compared to our standard Mosquito Head Nets, and the ultra-fine mesh keeps even the smallest insects at bayincluding no-see-ums, sand-flies and midges. The Ultra-Fine Mesh Mosquito Head Net might be the smallest and lightest thing in your pack but if you're headed for areas where bugs are prevalent, it may be the most valuable piece of gear you'll take with you.

Works perfectly!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got this for hiking the JMT and it was a lifesaver! Weighs next to nothing and takes up no space in my bag. Would have been a much different hike without it!

Perfect head net

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This head net works perfectly. Very high quality and I am impressed with how sturdy the material is. I have gotten it tangled in some rose thorns before and didn't notice any damage at all.

We get a lot of

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We get a lot of small black flies in May so I wear this when I walk our dogs and it works great! Like other comments recommend wearing a brimmed hat so the mesh isn't touching your face or at least a baseball cap.

Lifesaver

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Never go backcountry in summer without it. When the wind stops and the bugs start biting, this light weight packable head net is a lifesaver.

Meh

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's a bug net. Works ok. Got caught on velcro anytime it was near. I feel like I've had better bug nets. I wasn't super impressed. It obscured vision a fair amount. It could use a tiny weight or something to keep it in place.

Mesh head net

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It worked keeping the biting flies off of me while hiking. It takes a while to get use to the mesh in your face.

A great buy again item

Use a wide brimmed hat and or a button up shirt and you’ll have no problem staying sane in a bug filled environment. I’ve bought 6 regular and one Ultra-Fine mesh of this head net. What’s that tell you?
