Review Summary
Customer Images
Here's what customers have to say
The running shoe offers excellent performance, comfort, and support. Many reviewers praised the lightweight and responsive feel, noting it helped them achieve personal bests. The shoe is described as comfortable out of the box, with great cushioning and a springy, fast ride. However, some experienced issues with the fit, particularly in the heel and forefoot areas. A few found the shoe too narrow, causing discomfort and pain. There were also complaints about the tongue design and the shoe's tendency to get wet in the rain. Overall, the shoe seems to be a high-quality, performance-oriented option that works well for many runners, but may not be the best fit for those with wider feet or specific fit preferences. It's great for racing and speed training, but may need adjustments for longer, slower runs.

One and done
At first, I was nervous to try a shoe with a carbon plated shoe. I had a bad experience with a pair of NB. I race 10K to 15K distances primarily. My weekly mileage is around 45. My long runs are up to 15 miles, these shoes do it all. They have turned into my every day trainer whether I’m doing hill repeats or long runs and I wear them on race day. They’re iight and responsive.

Best marathon trainer
These are easily the best running shoes I've ever worn. Been training for my marathon in these.

Lots of bounce and traction
I finally wore these for the first time the other day and I absolutely loved them. I’m not a very experienced runner but I’m competing in my first Hyrox soon and saw so many of the experienced competitors wear these. Ran 5 miles in them and went through all the stations with enough traction and control. Definitely not cheap but a great investment

The most comfortable, fitted healthy shoe I have
As an elite trainer and seasoned runner with a deep appreciation for Saucony footwear, I’ve found the Endorphin Pro 4 to offer an exceptional fit that aligns perfectly with the contours of my foot. This precise fit enhances comfort and performance, making it a standout choice in my running regimen. Given the remarkable synergy between my foot shape and the Endorphin Pro 4’s design, it would be prudent to maintain consistency in my footwear selection. Sticking with the Pro 4 can help prevent potential discomfort or injuries that might arise from frequently switching between different shoe models. Additionally, it would be beneficial if Saucony considers developing an all-weather variant of the Endorphin Pro 4. Such a model would provide runners with the same exceptional fit and performance across diverse weather conditions, further enhancing the versatility of this already outstanding shoe.

These did not work for me.
I am so disappointed in this shoe. The only super shoes I have ever worn have been the Endorphin Pros. This is my 3rd pair. I qualified for Boston in my Pro 3s. I have worn this shoe for 2 races, a half and a 15k. After my half last month, I thought it was weird that my big toe turned black and was very sore, but my sock had split and I figured it had to do with my sock. In the following weeks my other big toe started to turn. I HAVE NEVER HAD A BLACK TOENAIL! What the heck? They aren't too small, there is just something off. I thought that had to be a fluke and I wore them on Saturday for a 15k and now both big toes are really sore and look even worse. I will not be racing Boston in these shoes and I am so distraught because I feel like I am back to square one trying to figure out what shoe I need to race in. I wear the Kinvaras and the Speeds but I like to race in the carbon plated shoes and I have no idea what to try.

Love the carbon plate !
I absolutely love these shoes! I’m prone to getting blisters but that isn’t a problem any more with these shoes. They are super lightweight, comfy, cushioned but still give you that bounce from the carbon plate. I feel like my runs are lighter and faster. I font feel any shock when I hit the ground so it feels like walking/running on clouds. I cannot recommend these shoes enough! I plan on using these for race day. They are so comfy for longer runs and faster speed runs.

Clunky shoes
This version feels heavier than pro 3, looser at the top, sole feels too long also... really a step back from the endorphin pro 3 that felt like a second skin

I own 4 pairs!
These are my absolute favorite marathon training and racing shoe. Love the Pro 4 more than the elites too. Great mix of comfort and responsiveness with a wide toe box. I’ve trained and raced Boston and Chicago in these and currently training for this year’s Boston and London marathons. I’ve turned all my running friends onto them too!!!

Too narrow
I love saucony when it comes in WIDE. I have the triumph 22 wide and absolutely love it. I wanted to get carbon plated shoes for my marathon and unfortunately there are no wide options. I bought this one thinking maybe.. but it was definitely too narrow. Please please come with a wide option for your carbon plate shoes :( I had to go to New Balance for them because they’re the only ones in the whole market that offer wide carbon plate shoes.
