Love these shoes.
I bought these shoes a year ago, and love them so much I bought another pair so I have them when they stop making them or change them. My third pair of Salomon running or hiking shoes - great, comfortable and stylish!

Great shoe, but hot, doesn't breathe like a GTX
I like a low drop shoe of 4mm, so these days there are lot a lot of options. I wanted a more cushioned low drop shoe and this fits the bill. My only complaint is these shoes are hot and don't breathe. they are like a pair of goretex shoes. Please update the the shoes just changing the fabric breathability, but leave the rest the same

So Happy!!!
I bought these for a 50k in sand, washes, rock climbing, ladders and cables. I wore gaiters with these and had no sand in my shoes at all! Everyone else was dumping tons of sand out of their shoes and I was soooooo happy I bought these 6 weeks before racing. They were comfy, grippy, and overall amazing!

Great hiking / trail running shoe!
I bought this pair of Salomon Thundercross hiking / trail running shoes after my last pair of Salomon's needed to retire. My first hike in these was 5.3 miles, the second was over 6 miles and they were so comfortable. No aching arches, no pinched toes. Just pure comfort. I can't wait to take them for a trail running spin! I wear a size 8.5 in women's and these are true to size.

Great all round shoe so far!!
I bought these to run Lakeland 50 in this year so have been trying them out!! Did 2 days in the lakes straight out the box….no problems at all, they’re super comfy, easy to adjust lacing and feel secure without being too tight. I have narrow feet and find I can get these to fit snug on my ankle and mid foot with some fiddling. They were great on rocky packed oaths and loose stones. The little bit of mud I had was fine, but haven’t tried them in lots of mud yet. They were cushioned enough that all the road sections I had were comfortable too. I wear a size 8 normal shoe, a 10 brooks, a 9.5/10 saucony and I found the 9.5 in these shoes were a good fit. Will define racing in them in the summer even if I have to get another pair!!

Great trail shoes
This is my second pair of the same shoes. Very, very satisfied. They are durable, comfortable, no break in time needed. Great support for plantar fasciitis. I highly recommend!

Comfortable and grippy
Overall rating 4.5 stars. I use these for running steep hilly muddy trails and they’re great. I have short wide feet/stubby toes with high arches and size 8.5 in most shoes works best for my foot shape. These feel great in the heel with nice padding, and plenty of room in toe box—my short toes don’t go numb! I don’t usually like speed lacing because I can’t tailor the fit, but the fabric on these shoes works with the speed lacing. Though these are “maximally cushioned,” the cushioning is firmer than I prefer. The 5mm lugs are perfect for deep mud and rough terrain but also feel good on more groomed trails. I haven’t tried them on pavement yet.
