Stance 88 Ski brings precision, stability, and energy to everyday all-mountain laps

What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:

"The Stance 88 is my pick when I want to charge hard on firm snow but still have fun exploring. It grips confidently on groomers, feels stable in crud, and is light enough that I don’t get tired after a full day. A true daily driver for resort skiing."

Who It’s For

Intermediate to Expert Women Skiers:

The Stance 88 is designed for skiers who want a hard-charging daily ski for the resort. It’s perfect for riders who ski confidently on groomers, like to carve at speed, and still want the versatility to handle choppy snow, hidden stashes, or mixed conditions.

What It’s For

Firm-Snow All-Mountain Performance:

At 88mm underfoot, the Stance 88 excels in packed snow and firm conditions while still offering enough width to explore off-trail. Its rocker/camber profile and race-inspired sidecut deliver precise edge hold and quick transitions, while the metal-reinforced construction keeps it stable at high speeds.

Why We Like It

Stable, Energetic, and Built to Charge:

We like the Stance 88 because it blends lightness with power. The karuba-poplar core keeps it lively, while the Metal Twin Frame and carbon/flax laminates add dampness and confidence on edge. It’s a ski that feels fast, stable, and reliable for resort days when we want to push it.

Love these skis

These skis were exactly what I was looking for and I love them. They are super fun and allow me to make tighter, faster carving turns versus my powder skis and the fat skis that we’ve all been skiing. I call them my morning carving skis and I love them. I believe people who are having problems with the top sheet chipping off are banging their skis together on the lift. This is my second season on them and they are in perfect condition. I mainly ski Utah, Colorado and Idaho. My only complaint is that they don’t hold an edge on ice or plow through crud but that’s not what I bought them for.

Poor quality and not durable

I bought these skis a month ago and skied groomed areas only. After three times skiing found many chips and lifts. I wonder these skis are defects like missing the final protective coating?

Top Sheet Chipped

I bought these skis at the start of the season and love how the ski hard pack & groomers. A great all rounder. After 5 outings and some hard skiing, the top sheet has chipped away from the edge and is much less durable than I would have hoped (no crashes, but a couple of drops in to hard packed terrain). Seems they aren't as great for "hard charging" as marketed.
