These were very comfortable for 8+ hours a day hiking through Spain. Mostly city streets and not trails but breathable and very comfy.

Why did I wait so long?!
I've heard such great things about Salomon's, but I kept putting off buying them. I finally did it after being disappointed with so many other shoes. Now, I hate that I waited. These shoes are comfortable, and I'm not talking about after a week of wearing them either. I didn't have to wear them to "break them in". The only issue I have with them is on wet surfaces. Being outside, though, their traction is amazing.

The Speedcross line provides the perfect trifecta of comfort, versatility and style. Between my six pair and my wife’s five pair along with a few pair scattered throughout the family, they are by far my most comfortable and worn footwear. Without question we get the most compliments than any shoe I’ve worn. The added Gortex is ideal for those cold winter months, the add some additional protection from the cold, as well as the wintry wet conditions in Utah. They are my shoe! Around town, on a date in the yard, on the golf course, on the trail…they work great in pretty much every environment. The only issue I have is that the souls being very software wear out faster than the rest of the shoe.

So comfortable

Awesome shoes
I bought these for trail running and every day wear. They are super comfortable, light weight, have great traction and are easy to put on and take off. Overall they are an amazing shoe and I will definitely buy more.
