I've had 4 pairs over the years for az trail running - incredibly comfortable out of box - very durable and grippy on rock - good support, feet never sore even after 20 mile days with light pack load - if only sole were more durable. Sole worn flat on all pairs well before rest of shoe shows signs of serious wear, and I only wear shoe on trail. I'm on small size too - 5'6 145lb.

Use: running/hiking mountail trails and crag approaches in Colorado mountains. I have been running in these shoes since the first Speedcross; own 4-5 pairs at any given time. Perfect shoe for normal trail running, but one ups the rest for grip in steep or icy conditions. GTX versions aren't noticeably warmer in summer months. I run in these on trails daily; they do wear down faster if you are running on concrete alot.

Used daily in the mountain trails of Colorado. This has been my go to trail shoe for dry, wet, or icy conditions since the 1st Speedcross release. Daily trail shoe or special trail running, single track, and steeps. Handles fine on concrete or streets, but the shoe does wear down faster if you hit a lot of streets. Goretex doesn't add alot of temp variation, good year round.

Out of the box comfort, durable and handles it all

These shoes were comfortable on day 1. I use them all the time to hike in our local mountains over loose dirt, rocks and roots. They grab the terrain firmly which gives me comfort. And they are waterproof as well...another plus!

Was skeptical... Glad I pulled the trigger!

I have a hard time with fitment so I typically stick to one brand. That is until I came across these. I loved the look and just wanted to try a pair. Thankfully they fit great and are so comfortable. The lacing system was another selling point for me. Happy with my purchase.

Great on the muddy trails and on the farm!

I’ve had 3 pairs. I trail run, farm, and wear them daily out in the country. Dewy mornings or muddy dog runs, they are great for anything. I’m pretty rough on shoes so they last about 1.5 years for me. I also love the quick lace system so I can slip on and off quickly when going in and out of the house

Great traction in varied terrain

These trail shoes deliver where it counts. The aggressive lug pattern provides excellent grip on varied terrain, while the Gore-Tex membrane kept my feet completely dry through heavy rain and unavoidable puddle crossings. The updated colorways look sharp too - functional doesn't have to mean boring.

Very comfortable, versatile.

Love the adjustability in the lacing system. Very good grip and extremely comfortable. They do tend to wear fast when used on pavement..

Rugged and comfy

This is now my second pair. I wear them almost everyday as I am an outdoor educator. They provide outstanding grip and comfort. As I am in and out of a ravine, they keep my feet dry. Even when I wear them all day, they do not build up stink ( that depends on your foot sweat, and routine post wearing shoe drying routine). They are easy to clean with a wet-wipe or if needed a good wash. Overall, they are awesome. I highly recommend them.
