Why We Like The Salomon S/LAB Shift 2 10 MN Binding
Coming back this year with a more reliable and aggressive build, Salomon's S/LAB Shift 2 10 MN Binding remains our top pick for a do-it-all setup. On the climb, the beefier brake levers remain locked to avoid unnecessary frustration, and the taller heel riser option helps reduce fatigue when the skintrack steepens. Once at the drop, the dual mode toe streamlines transitions by converting quickly from climb to ski mode with a simple flip of the toe lever, while the new and improved Power Block Anti-Friction Device boosts our lateral power transfer by 30-percent, making us unstoppable on the face.

Slab shift
Skis well. Not the easiest to switch to walk mode. It is a good binding to use as a work binding for patrolling. Looks to have a good release and if I need to walk I can.

Lost
I lost my ski and binding after it slid out of bounds.
