Love them, great boots.
Great boot's that work well. Light and responsive for a light boot.

Sadly not reliable long term
Really unfortunate since I quite liked the boots up to this point. The whole back portion that locks the boot into ski mode broke in the middle of a five day traverse. Remember to always bring your bailing wire and extra ski straps folks! This is the third season with them so warranty rejected and not repairable - these boots are finished. As Donald would say, "Sad." They fit me like a glove out of the box so I'm extra bummed. Walk mode is smooth and so are transitions. Nothing ever iced up. Get them if you're light or only have skimo sticks but at 190lbs + backpack and 106 wide skis I guess I pushed them too hard.

To wide in the toes box
They are pretty light compared to the old one I own. I also love the flexibility, it’s like wearing a normal pair of boots, super easy to walk with… but, since I own an older version of it was expecting something similar but lighter and better… but everything in those boots are different, the toe box is way to wide, if it was only that it would not be that bad, but the boa system doesn’t allow you to tighten enough near ankle junction, which makes your ankle move upward when you put pressure forward… which happen a lot when you ski… also the middle Velcro is to high which doesn’t allow you to keep your foot stable inside the boots…I love the fact that it is easy to release the pressure when you go on walking mode though. In conclusion, I Think it could have been a good boots, but in my opinion the tighting system isn’t position at the right place which makes your foot instable. I only use theme twice and now I’m stuck with them, which is a little anoying since they are pretty expensive…but it is what it is I guess.

Very comfortable
I can wear them while driving! I thought they were too small as my big toe touched the front when I first tried them on. But, they were perfect and super comfortable right from my first ascent and descent.

Poor Engineering
Low Ankle cuff makes for loose fit, Buckles all a pain to adjust before each run. Liners difficult to remove and reinsert for daily drying especially if you have stick on boot fitting shims. Wire broke and started unravelling after 8 days use!! I recommend WOULD NOT recommend to anyone. I bought because I have wide feet and wish I could take them back but had them blown out even wider. Super dissapointed in this product.

The perfect skimo boot..
Salomon did it with the S/Lab Mtn Summit. It’s the perfect blend of lightweight and powerful stiff. This boot wants to run up the mountain and rip down.

Solid boot - improvements would make it perfect
Bought this to replace some very well loved (and old in the tooth) MTN labs from ages ago that are still good but I figured an upgrade was in order. Fit: the toebox is definitely roomier than the older MTN labs which is a big plus. Last seems similar and you can heat mould of course. However, the actual length is shorter by a few mm - and there's a significant difference in BSL (about 12mm for a 28.5 boot). Will likely need to get them punched for my big toe. My foot definitely feels way snugger in these which is great (more of an alpine racing fit). For ref, I own 27.5 S/Pro 130's and the fit is almost as tight as my 28.5 Summits. Overall impressions: I like the BOA - will see how it survives deep bootpacking adventures up couloirs. The main buckle provides enough range to get decent ROM when you flip it open, but you likely will want to reposition the velcro strap. The powerstrap though needs improvement - I find it annoying (position, length and lack of adjustable buckle means you're going to fiddle with it during every transition). Still early season in the Canadian Rockies so haven't charged hard yet with the boots, but they were driving my 106 skis without any problem. The boot does tend to buckle outward at the ankle when you really drive shin pressure though - more so than my older MTN Labs. What I don't like: the liner ... might be lightweight, but I immediately switched the stock liner for my Intuition Pro Tours ... Weight: my older MTN Labs came in at 1590g each boot - this one came in at 1305g (with the stock liner). Other note: given the significantly shorter BSL as compared to the MTN Lab, expect to have to reposition your bindings (at min your rear piece will need to move up). Overall, I'm quite happy with the purchase, subject to the above.

Great lightweight boot
Bought this to replace a Scarpa F1 LT that was fitted too big, and wanted to try this instead. Overall, it’s a great boot with a slightly wider toe box than the F1 LT. The ski/walk switch is probably the best feature of the boot. On the up, the ROM and weight make it just as walkable as the F1 LT. On the down, I was slightly less confident with this boot than the F1 LT. It has a more progressive flex, but it does feel not as supportive as the F1 LT despite advertising that it’s stiffer. Overall a solid boot.
