Quest Tracker GORE-TEX Boots provide stable, waterproof support for rugged terrain
What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:
"I wore these through two weeks on mixed alpine terrain—from packed trail to scree to muddy forests—and they handled everything like champs. The GORE-TEX membrane kept me dry through rain and stream crossings, and the ankle support saved me more than once on uneven descents."
Built for long hauls and unforgiving trails, the Salomon Quest Tracker GORE-TEX Boots are our go-to choice when carrying a full pack into remote terrain. Their high-cut design offers critical ankle support, while a rugged leather upper and burly chassis inspire confidence over rock, mud, and loose scree.
The breathable GORE-TEX membrane ensures total waterproof protection while allowing moisture to escape, keeping our feet dry from inside and out. Underfoot, the advancedCHASSIS™ and EnergyCell midsole work together to stabilize each step and absorb shock, while All Terrain Contagrip® provides sure-footed traction over wet roots and rocky ridgelines. Designed with a molded OrthoLite® insole and a gusseted tongue, the Quest Tracker Boots offer plush comfort and trail protection for demanding days in the backcountry.

Function meets comfort
I bought these to be waterproof, hard working utility boots and they are perfect. I wear them in tall wet grass, mud and gravel and they leave me in dry comfort and clean up afterwards to look like new. No brake in was required!

Great boot
Best back country boots so far, I work in the north east in the woods in swampy, steep, rocky terrain kept my feet dry all day and great support. Recommend to all

Great Boot - When Does It Break In??
Great boot. Foot remind dry and warm through the snow and wet. Solid construction. I have bruises and abrasions on my ankles from the tongue. Over worn them lose, tight, somewhere in between. At what point do these boots stop injuring me and start being comfortable? I’m losing a toe nail as well. If I had known the superior construction was going to be a downside of the boot I would have spent the money on some other shoe/boot offered. I like the brand.

Ok..I guess.
I still don’t know why they removed the “old” Quad GTXs from their line. These seem like they tried to bring them back in a different style. Very stiff, size seems to run at least 1/2 size bigger. Toe box is very narrow. They do seem well built but only have about 25 miles on them. I had to use inserts to make them fit correctly. Meh is how I’d describe them. Again for the 1,000th time, I’m not sure why Solomon took a boot that everyone loved and changed it. Doesn’t make any sense to me.

Great boots
One of my favorite pairs of boots th at I’ve owned. Very comfortable. I bought them for a trip to Argentina because they were waterproof and they did not let any water inside. I have since been using them in the Arizona desert and they are holding up well to the rough terrain. Would buy again.

Amazing boots, highly recommend
I got theses boots for an Idaho mule deer hunt. We hiked over 30 miles in 6 days from 6000 ft to 9000 ft in elevation. These boots truly held firm and my feet never felt sore or beat up. Can’t recommend these enough to those looking for a boot that can handle the sharp shale rock on mountains and give your feet the stability and comfort they need.
