GuideRail 2-Bike Hitch Rack brings secure, no-frame-contact transport and easy loading
What Our Gearhead Experts Are Saying:
This rack is a favorite for peace of mind—securing bikes by the tires means paint and frames stay pristine, and the anti-wobble system genuinely keeps everything locked down mile after mile. We also love how you can load a pair of hefty e-bikes without worry, and the asymmetric trays mean no tangled bars or pedals on busy days.
The GuideRail 2-Bike Hitch Rack transforms bike hauling with a platform design that eliminates frame contact and maximizes security. Bikes are held in place by adjustable tire arms for a fit that protects precious carbon and paint, while the robust build accommodates up to 60 pounds per tray—making room for burly mountain bikes or e-bikes. The three-axis anti-wobble system cuts movement during drives, and the rack’s clever asymmetric loading makes handlebar conflicts a thing of the past. Compatibility for 1.25in and 2in hitches (with optional adapter) and an intuitive, tool-free install round out a feature set built for any ride.

Rocky Mounts Guiderail 2 hit hitch bike
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
I bought this recently because of the 20% discount. This is a very well built rack that is thoughtfully designed. I have nothing but praise for this rack. I have used it many times since purchasing and have no complaints. It’s very easy to use and super convenient. I love that it comes with a hefty lock. The locking design, I think, is great! I would highly recommend this bike rack!

Guide rail Rocky Mounts bike carrier
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
I was looking for a bike rack that didn’t touch the frame like the 1UP and I saw the Rocky Mounts on Competitive Cyclist come up on sale. All I can say is this is a great bike rack! Easy to assemble, sturdy in the car hitch and so easy to use. Locks onto the car and comes with a heavy duty chain to lock your bikes to the rack. Expandable to be a 4 bike carrier as well.

AWESOME Rack!
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
I spent a couple months comparing racks and looking for something that met my basic criteria: 1) durable, 2) up to 60lbs/bike limit, 3) simple and convenient function, 4) secure hold on bikes, 5) low amount of plastics, and 6) reasonable total weight. The RockyMounts GuidRail meets all of these criteria, and it looks great. This rack is engineered well, it is very sturdy and it was super easy to install. In fact, it took me longer to get it out of the shipping box than it did to install it. I am very satisfied with this rack, and I would definitely recommend it to others.

Top notch rack
- Familiarity:

I bought this a couple months ago and it is the perfect rack. Very well built, easy to use, made in Colorado. We were using a cheap rack initially for our car (swagman xtr) and it was easy and functional but after getting rear ended we needed a new one. We splurged a bit on this rack and now realize it should have been the first choice! It’s so simple to load and unload the bikes. The rack tilts down so u can open your trunk if you have one, doesn’t block the plate when up (if that matters), and even comes with a heavy duty bike lock to secure your bikes to the rack. It also comes with a lock for hitch pin. Great rack!

Rockymounts BAD customer service
Rockymounts can't be bothered to help their customers. Nice product, terrible support. Full-size Toyota owners will need the Rockymounts XL hitch pin. Good luck sourcing that from Rockymounts or Rino Rack.

Lame customer support. Fine rack.

Do yourself a favor and go with Kuat. Decided to try something new after years with Kuat and immediately had to deal with a far worse customer support team. Kuat always stands by their products no matter where or when you bought it and they get your issues resolved. I’ve been waiting on a part for 3 weeks from rockymounts and they ghosted after saying they sent it. Rack seems fine. Threaded hitch pin is annoying if you want to take your rack off regularly - no other rack stabilization tech so an aftermarket pin isn’t an option.

Works perfectly

Assembled in 15 minutes. Have not noticed any sway while driving. Included security features are as good as you can get. A little pricey, but got mine with a 20% off coupon so it was a no-brainer. Also, shoutout to the gearheads at CC who are the best!

RockyMounts makes really nice bike racks with similar features and lower prices than other major brands. Setup and install is super simple and it does exactly what it’s supposed to do.

Excellent Rack
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
I did a fair amount of research before purchasing this rack. My biggest complaint about 1Up and other similar racks was the lack of a proper lock. This has an outstanding lock that would cost over $100 if purchased separately. The rack is easy to operate and looks amazing. Branding visuals are minimal. I've used it with road and mountain bikes, and it works equally well with both. Highly recommend!
