When we want a reliable hardtail that’s capable beyond the bike path, we reach for the Rocky Mountain Fusion 40 Mountain Bike. Rocky Mountain designed the Fusion for riders who bounce between flowy singletrack, gravel connectors, and backcountry adventure routes. With 29in wheels, a slacker head tube angle, and an efficient pedaling platform, it’s ready for all-around trail days.

Up front, a 100mm RockShox Judy Silver fork absorbs chatter and keeps the front end confident. A SRAM SX Eagle drivetrain gives us a wide 11–50T gear range for climbs and flats alike, while hydraulic disc brakes keep our speed in check. WTB i30 rims and 2.4in tires provide grip and cushion without sacrificing speed. Whether we’re riding to the trail or riding the whole mountain, the Fusion 40 is built to do it all.
