This is my second time buying this coat. It’s my favorite coat and I have many. I had to size up to get the right fit. I typically wear an XS or S but ended up buying a medium because I’m not a climber and prefer a fit that isn’t tight.

I got this to ideally upgrade my current puffy. It is very nice quality. The down is distributed nicely. The exterior gortex feels as if it would do a good job. The arms extend a little longer over the hands for warmth. I am 5'5" 120lbs and got no curves. The XS fit perfectly with a sweatshirt on underneath. The hood was nice, but excessiely sized unless you were going to always have a helmet on. The hand pockets were well placed. It comes with a separate pouch that has a biner clip it can pack into. To me, this is more of a niche jacket than one I would want to wear everywhere. I have an eddie bauer first ascent jacket that I got for 1/3 of the price with the same (and a couple more) features that I like a lot better. Nice jacket, price tag wasn't for me so I returned it.

The quality of the jacket

The quality of the jacket is very good and very happy with my choice. However it fitted too big and had to purchase a smaller size. I have returned the larger size and unfortunately I still waiting for refund. Can you please update this return?

Fits well. Comfortable and versatile. Gore Tex outer is a big plus. Worked well during a windy damp hike. Haven’t tried it in a downpour, but very pleased so far.

I bought the Infinity for my sweethearts birthday and she loves it. The fit is perfect and the quality is great. Overall a well made piece of gear with well thought out features.

I bought this jacket last year, I was looking forward to having a multi-functional jacket for a range of outdoor activities, however from the beginning I was unhappy with the jacket. I intended to get in touch with Rab to feedback my disappointment, but I didn’t get round to it . The jacket went away for summer and I have just got it out…this has reminded me of why I felt it was not a good Rab product: The outer ripped the first time I wore it (never had this happen before). The jacket ‘leaks’ feathers continually. My clothes get covered - and they are visible on the outside too. I hope this year’s version has an improved outer layer/design that doesn’t rip and doesn’t leak feathers. I have LOADS of Rab products - this is my least favourite.

I love love love this jacket, me not athletic anymore but love a good quality coat! Lightweight, warm the upper body around shoulders is awesome not restrictive at all! I usually take a small and definately could have but opted for an XS and it looks really nice it doesn't leave a ton of room in the hips for bulky layers though! I can easily wear a wool sweater and a tee under it though which is how I wear all my coats anyhow. I got black and it looks super chic! Already got lots compliments on this coat! Next season if they offer another color I love I may pick up another.
