We put the PNW Gen 2 Loam Pedals on our bikes knowing they’re built to withstand abuse and keep spinning smoothly. The CNC’d aluminum body features a new compound concave platform that supports both forefoot and midfoot riding styles, giving us confidence whether climbing tech or charging down lines.

With 10 stainless steel pins per side, including PNW’s patented Tectonic™ design, the pedals lock our shoes in place without feeling stuck. Better yet, the pin system is easy to service, so stripped threads and seized pins are a thing of the past. Underneath, a cartridge axle with two sealed bearings keeps things spinning quietly, and when it’s time to rebuild, it’s a simple job with basic tools. EFBE Gravity Category 5 certification proves these pedals are ready for downhill, enduro, or e-MTB punishment, all while staying sleek at just 420 grams per pair.
