Aquila Harness is designed for climbers who need comfort and capability from gym lead climbing to alpine epic. The wide, ergonomic waist distributes pressure evenly, banishing hot spots during long hangs or big falls, while the thin EVA padding and flexible webbing conform as you move. Adjustable leg loops, a flexible bridge, and quick Doubleback buckles create a dialed-in fit that adapts for summer shorts or winter softshells.
The harness features two rigid front gear loops for swift racking and unclipping, with two flexible loops in back to angle gear forward—but out of the way while chimneying or carrying packs. Two slots accommodate Caritool holders for ice screws or extra gear, a rear haul loop is ready for a chalk bag or tagline, and the compact belay loop keeps systems neat and easy to inspect. With lightweight construction and robust support, it's a workhorse for trad, sport, and long days on the wall.

Gear loops too far back

To prevent the left gear loops from ending up very far behind you, the harness needs to be tightened as far as it will go. My waist size is 31"-32", right in the middle of the medium size range, but the gear loops are far back enough that they are difficult to use.

Very light with plenty of room for gear. I use it for sport and trad climbing, works well during the summer as it very light weight.

Harness feels great, and the gear loop situation is extremely fantastic. I've taken many whips with this harness. My only issue is the small belay loop... it is HALF the width of 'regular' belay loops. I cannot find info about its mbs either which is weird. I'm sure it's fine because I've belayed and rappelled more times than I can count with it, but it is something that sits in the back of my mind since day one. I'm currently in the process of modifying a second belay loop to install on the harness.
