Good jacket but zipper an issue.

Purchased the jacket just over two years ago. It blocks the wind as advertised and is a great layer to pack away when warmed up. I've used it for gravel races in starting temps as low as 35 deg. F. It is not a rain jacket, nor is it advertised as such. It will keep you warm, even if you are wet, if you are working hard enough. It blocks the wind! My issue with the jacket is the zipper. It ALWAYS gets stuck on the flap fabric. One has to be very careful to make sure this doesn't happen or you're stopping to fix it on the side of the road. Not very effective for a layer you want to take off during your ride as you and/or the temps warm up. Finally, after just over two years, the zipper completely stopped working. To summarize; the jacket is effective for it's intended purpose, but the zipper is a problem.

Wore this on a 6 mile, 2 hour hike in medium rain. Soaked to my skin. Would have been horrible if cycling! Glad it was not lower than 70 degrees F. Okay as wind breaker or under an umbrella.
