In defense of this piece I bought it to wear to the office or casually, not for ultralight trekking . Its very thin....imagine the material of your tent bag but shinier. Its one very thin layer and a little swishy. Based on the weight and construction, if this didn't have a Patagonia tag on it your be paying around $40 for it. I returned it.

Great pullover.
Great lightweight windbreaker. I have the full zip version as well and wanted something without the hood. This is perfect weight and size. Goes on easy enough with room for a light layer. Stashes real small. Great for day hikes and going fast and light in warm weather.
