Good but the zipper sucks
Really loved this and still think it’s ok as far as weight and warmth but the durability is poor and zipper constantly pulls apart. Size up the zipper!

Verdant color is like a Kelly Green
This is my husband's second one of these---he loves them. Perfect weight and warmth to be a functional, dare I say essential, piece for the seasons in the Pacific Northwest. I wanted to share that the Verdant color on the OR website makes the jacket looks like it will be a blue-green aqua color, but it is actually very green--more like Kelly Green. So be aware of that.

My new favorite puffy
Love this jacket! Got it on sale, perfect for layering under a shell. Very lightweight and packable. Super warm perfect for everyday use in the Adirondacks where it's usually chillier than the forecast predicts. I bring this jacket with me everywhere.

Good synthetic hoody
Comfy, light, and packable. Not overly warm but I use it as a backup layer stored in the bag

Great synthetic puffy!
I am a huge fan of the Superstrand Lt hoodie. It’s my go to shoulder season inactive insulation jacket and my winter active or more milder temps hoodie. This is my go to that I’ll bring with temps down to the mid 20s. It’s super lightweight and packs down small, something I look for in a backcountry insulation piece. It does a great job insulating if wet and sweaty still and doesn’t hold crazy odors! I’d highly recommend!

Great shoulder season jacket
Not as warm as others but warmer than a shell. Fits exactly how you’d want and packs into its own pocket. Will buy again if it ever gets ruined

4 year review
I've had this jacket 4 years now & I feel it's a good time to review. The jacket has held up for the most part. It provides decent warmth, even in winter months, and offeres good wind protection. Right out of the box it appeared to be fraying with material. 4 years later there's been some minor rips and the fabric has discolored in spots around the stitching. Overall I wouldn't buy this jacket again. For the price it is definitely not worth it.

Problem with Insulation
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
- Size Bought:
- Medium
Packable and warm, but the jacket immediately started releasing insulation after normal use.
