Fragile

Super fragile shirt, handle with care. Keep away from velcro at all costs. Was excitedly heading out for a paddle with my brand new Echo shirt, it touched a live of velcro on my dry bag and immediately pulled the fabric, less than ten minutes of wear. While my dissatisfaction with the fragility is high, its ability to keep the sun off me in hot weather was really nice.

Great Mid-Weight

This was a lot heavier than I had expected, but it is a great fit, comfortable, and warm! Zipper is quality, and I like that the logo is at the bottom of the hem, not on the chest. Overall, lots of surprises, but a good buy!

Super lightweight top

This is a great product, nice fit, good construction. Be aware that it is VERY light weight, perfect for sun coverage in the summer, but I wouldn't use it as anything other than a single layer in hot conditions.

Super lightweight

I didn’t realize how thin this top is. Almost see through. Definitely a base layer for spring or fall. Fits nicely but has limited possibilities for my use.

They keep getting better

Great fit, great breathability and dries faster than anything else, lightweight and comfortable fabric. I haven't found a better shirt for intense activity. Arms stretch to be pulled up -- initially tight, but will continue to stretch to the point of falling down after a few hours. Arms reset nicely when laundered, essentially back to original. The current thumb loops are a significant improvement from the previous design, particularly when pulled up. Only concern is the shirts slowly and progressively shrink with gentle laundering (cold gentle cycle in a delicates bag, hang dried, no heat) -- I imagine that's unavoidable with the design tradeoffs, but would love if there was a solution. Obviously they'll snag and form holes with rough use.

Awesome shirt but super fragile

I love these shirts, and I own four of them, but that's only because two of them sustained substantial damage and pretty rapidly. They're very comfortable and I wear them in a variety of settings, especially for hiking in the heat. The only thing I can't stand about these shirts is the fact that they are so delicate. They snag relentlessly on the smallest of things, if you aren't obsessively filing your nails to polished edges, you are bound to snag it. It can be a long streak or small 'pills'. There's no washing instructions that I can find, and my roommate ended up putting one of my shirts in the dryer on accident causing big dark splotches of melted fabric to appear all over the shirt. Never put these in a washing machine and always use an individual laundry bag for them.

Echo line reigns supreme!

A lifelong lover of the Echo collection! Some changes to the design include a change in regular size. Was typically a large in echo Q-zip, but now a medium fits me. The large feels like an XL. The dimensions, especially in the shoulder width & body, are not the same as previous versions. All of OR's updated versions have undergone weird sizing changes. That is my biggest gripe. Still a fan of the product, just try it on for size.

arms way too large

arms are too blousy even in a medium.. Arms feel like a large not in length but overall size.

I own two, will buy more

I size up (from XL to XXL) because I prefer a looser fit; that makes the sleeves slightly long, but not inconveniently long. Thank you for the thumb holes, which make it much easier to keep the sleeves down when putting on shirts over this shirt. I often wear mine over a short-sleeve echo tshirt for extra winter warmth by itself or under a flannel shirt. The echo material feels great against my skin, and it slides easily over and under other clothes. I have not owned my quarter zips long enough to assess their durability, but I have half a dozen echo tshirts and tanks, and they have held up well. The echo shirts and tanks are great at moving moisture, so I often use them when on the treadmill or the Peloton (some of us sweat like cold bottles on a hot, humid day). The echo shirts also keep me feeling comfortably dry when hiking. The zipper has a chin guard of the quarter zip pull-over is MUCH appreciated. The zipper makes the shirt more comfortable, especially if I am wearing an open collar dress shirt, and it certainly makes it easier to don and doff the shirt, especially when it is over another layer.
