Why We Like The Outdoor Research Adrenaline Glove
Nothing can end a ski day faster than our kiddo's hands freezing over, which is why we wrap them up in the Outdoor Research Adrenaline Glove and watch them send it down the mountain. The two-layer construction and Ventia insert combine for incredible waterproofing to keep little hands dry, and the EnduraLoft insulation provides plenty of warmth to keep our kids chomping at the bit for another run. The gauntlet cinch and elasticized wrist keep snow from sneaking in on a fall, and pull-on-loop makes it easy to get our little ones ready for a day on the hill.

Sizing Is a Real Impediment
- Size Bought:
- L (12-14)
- Height:
- 4' 6"
- Weight:
- 65
We read the other reviews about the sizing, measured our son's hand, and double/triple-checked. He measured at a Large (12-14) even though he's 8-going-on-9. These gloves aren't even close to big enough, and I can't imagine trying to put them on a 12/14 year old. If I go up two sizes, I'll be buying men's gloves for a 9yo. This is silly. In my opinion, the sizing issue makes these gloves unbuyable, and to add insult to injury, I'm also paying the return shipping to send them back. I have Outdoor Research gloves for myself and would have loved these for my son... if only they remotely approached a usable size.

Sized incorrectly
- Size Bought:
- L
Even after reading the other reviews about the sizing issue, I still ended up not ordering big enough. I order a large for my 9 year old boy and it looks like they would would fit my 7year old girl. They seem like super nice gloves though. Don’t just order one size up, order at least two sizes up.

Kid likes them
It's a solid pair of gloves. The kid is brutal on gear and these have held up nicely. From what I've observed - they maintain heat, good dexterity, and are great to use while making snowballs and sledding. 5/5 for a good product.

Decent but not super warm
My son uses these for school which works fine with the limited extended times outside. When he has worn them outside for a longer duration he says they are not warm enough. I have always found that with gloves so it is what it is. To be expected as far as I'm concerned. Other then that, the quality seems really good thus far.

Sizing way off!
I purchased the Kids Flurry Sensor Gloves, size Medium (Age 9-10), for my 8 year old son. They were clearly too small and they ripped after one use. I upgraded to the Adrenaline gloves, size Large (Age 12-14) and they're also too small!

Runs VERY small, but is a great glove
Bought two of these gloves size small and size large for my 6 and 11 year old. Ended up returning the small and giving the size large to my 6 year old. Fantastic gloves just too bad the sizing is so off.

These run incredibly small!
We've had OR gloves and mittens for years for our kiddos, so I just sized up from small to mediums and these new ones are smaller than our old smalls! I just reordered large (for my small-ish 8 year old daughter...

Amazing gloves!
After buying $10 gloves from other brands over and over again, we finally spent the money on the OR kids gloves and they did not disappoint. We lived in Northern Canada and my son wore these sledding, ice fishing, snow shoeing, hunting etc. He beat them up but they continue to keep his hands warm and dry.

Good quality, runs small
Purchased these a few months ago for my son for outdoor play while at school (he prefers gloves over mittens for playing outside, and mittens over gloves for skiing...). We had our first snowfall this past weekend and when I went to put these on him to test them out before taking to school this week, we realized that they are way too small. He is 7 3/4 - will be 8 in March 2022. So I ordered the size small based on the Size Chart (size S for ages 6-8). I figured he'd be right in the middle of the size/age range and they would fit appropriately. He doesn't have large hands by any means (overall, he's a slightly taller than average + lean kid for his age). We could barely get the gloves on. So I now have a brand new pair of gloves that I'd already removed the tag from that can't be returned, so will have to order in the next size up. Sizing aside, the gloves are a good thickness (for warmth) and the strap at the wrist will help keep snow out. The extra length at the wrist is also ideal. Can't speak to how water proof/resistant they are, so hopefully they keep his hands dry. Consider sizing up if your child has larger hands and/or is in the middle of the recommended age based on the size chart.
