Why We Like The Osprey Hydraulics 3L Reservoir
Whether biking or hiking, we never leave without a hydration bladder in our pack. The Osprey Hydraulics 3L Reservoir is a premium choice for hydrating on the go, thanks to its easy-to-use system and ergonomic features. The Hydraulics 3L Reservoir has a Slide-Seal top for easy, efficient filling and secure closure. The QuickConnect System allows us to easily disconnect the tube and install a water filter when in the backcountry, and the Hydrapak Blaster bite valve has a fast water flow and an on/off switch. The Hydrostatic Backerplate gives the reservoir structure when filled to make installing it in a pack easier, and a magnetic clip on the hose that pairs with a magnetic clip on the shoulder strap keeps our hose and bite valve in place.

Here's what customers have to say
The Osprey Hydraulics reservoir is a well-reviewed hydration solution. Customers praise its large capacity, easy filling and cleaning, durable construction, and secure tube attachment. The wide opening allows adding ice cubes, and the new slide-to-close design is an improvement. However, some users have experienced leaks or a chemical taste, and a few had issues with the mouthpiece or tube. Overall, the reservoir is described as a high-quality, reliable hydration system.

The bladder leaks unless it is totally upright which is difficult with a rucksack. Otherwise it would be very good.

Excellent drinking reservoir
Excellent reservoir. The easily clip in or out tube makes it easy to top up if needed, another quality product from osprey. Comes with a magnet strap attachment to hold the hose in place, very pleased.

The 3Lt pack felt great
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The 3Lt pack felt great in my Osprey Talon 22, I was very happy with the set up. This is my first set up so I think I did very well with my choices! I know I’ll need a larger pack and water bag for longer hikes, works well and had water coming back after a 8 hour hike!! I did swallow an air bubble not being familiar with how to use it at first, the bad sweats if you chill the water first. Overall I’m very pleased and happy with my set up!

3L reservoir
the reservoir doesn’t feel as robust and durable as my old reservoir with a screw on lid. I initially struggled to open the filling aperture and was fearful of tearing the product as it was very tightly stuck together. I am still struggling to get rid of the over whelming chemical taste despite multiple attempts to rinse the reservoir and pipework and this is making it unusable.

Easy to fill and load
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy to fill and load into pack. Quick connect makes it really easy to use. No leak issues so far. I consume a lot of water so the 3l reservoir is just right for me. This works great in tandem with my Hikelite 28.

Great bladder
Fits perfectly in my tempest 22. There is a plastic taste the first few times of use. Also worth picking up the mouth piece cover separately too. But all in all a great bit of kit and sturdy with the hard back panel
