Daylite Plus LTD Backpack adds storage, structure, and eco-conscious versatility to your daily carry

What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:

"The Daylite Plus LTD is my daily go-to—it’s got more space than the regular Daylite, plus just the right number of pockets for everything from trail snacks to my work setup. I especially love how it fits my tablet and hydration bladder, and it clips right onto my Osprey travel pack when I’m heading out of town."

When we want a little more space, structure, and versatility in our daily carry, the Osprey Daylite Plus LTD Backpack steps up. It expands on everything we love about the original Daylite, with extra room for gear and a few smart touches that make a big difference—like a dedicated shove-it pocket and upgraded backpanel for breathable, all-day comfort.

Whether we’re hopping on a bike, hiking to a summit, or navigating a festival crowd, this 20-liter pack keeps our essentials secure and accessible. Inside, a multifunctional sleeve fits either a hydration reservoir or a 14" laptop or tablet, depending on where the day leads. It attaches seamlessly to several Osprey travel packs for extended journeys, and it’s built with bluesign® approved, recycled materials for a smaller impact on the planet. Sustainable, functional, and just the right size—the Daylite Plus LTD is our everyday essential.

Is this bag worth 2x

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Is this bag worth 2x the cost of the classic Daylite Plus? I ordered both to compare, and ended up returning both. The LTD version has only 3 differences that I could tell: 1) waterproof? (zippers and fabric); 2) aluminum buckle for compression straps; and 3) silk screen logo instead of embroidered. The aluminum buckle seemed much worse than the plastic snap buckle. The logo doesn't look as nice, but is probably necessary to keep the bag waterproof. The killer feature would be a waterproof bag. However, I couldn't find anywhere that Osprey says the bag is waterproof, and I didn't test it since the Daylite plus layout wasn't for us. Deal killers: lack of organization (zippered inner pockets), not too useful front zippered pocket, and especially that the bag can't really be used without the compression straps being buckled - and the straps go across the main zipper. If you love the layout of the Daylite plus, and if the bag ends up being waterproof, and you can put up with the annoying aluminum buckles, and you don't mind paying twice as much as the regular Daylite Plus, then this bag might be for you.
