Drylander Shock Cord Sprayskirt

Whether practicing roll-overs and blunts in an eddie, surfing on a play-spot, or simply out for a river run with high-volume rapids in early spring, be prepared to stay dry with the NRS Drylander Shock Cord Sprayskirt. This burly spray skirt is made with a full neoprene construction to give you tough resistance against strong currents. A thick, 4mm neoprene deck holds extra-tight around the cockpit, while the tunnel is made with 2mm of neoprene to give you a more contouring, nonrestrictive fit around the torso. To give the spray skirt long-lasting durability, the edge is reinforced with Infinity Coating to protect against abrasions and wearing from your paddle. The inner deck is also reinforced with a rubberized coating to help grip the kayak coaming and prevent slipping, while the extra-strong Shock Cord fits around the cockpit super tightly and can easily be released with the large and easy-to-use grab handle in the case you need to quickly release.

Don't - it can cause death or lost gear

Familiarity:
I've used it several times
Size Bought:
M body, l-xl cockpit
Height:
5' 11"
Weight:
180

We bought several of these as beginner kayakers last year. They all went back. They are super easy to put on but won't stay on at all. We had professional coaches who tried and they just pop off when you edge, won't stay on for a t-rescue, can't roll in them. Dangerous, they will not hold to your cockpit and we had the perfect, correct size for both body and cockpit. This product should be removed from the sale counter. INSTEAD: get the Klingon or Klingon Empire. It is so much better, still easy to put on, won't implode and allows you to focus on paddling, not swimming against your will, in potentially life threatening situations. NRS is eventually going to get into a class action over this one. Don't be a victim, in my opinion, just buy something better. 6 of us say the same thing.

Worst kayaking skirt ever used

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

It leaks horribly. Don’t ever have a rolling practice in it. You will be dumping water out every 5-6 rolls
