We keep the miles smooth and the fit dialed in the Northwave Sonic 2 Road Shoe. Whether we're spinning through high-mileage base miles or hammering out tempo intervals, these shoes keep us secure, cool, and ready to ride.
Built with a multi-layer microfiber upper and large mesh panels, the Sonic 2 provides excellent ventilation on warm rides. Three asymmetrical straps let us dial in a snug fit without pressure points, while the Integrated Heel System keeps our foot locked in through the pedal stroke. Northwave’s NRG Air sole uses fiberglass-reinforced nylon with a carbon insert for just the right mix of stiffness and comfort, making the Sonic 2 ideal for everything from weekend gran fondos to midweek group rides.
