The bio-based Dyneema® upper molds to our feet for a second-skin fit that’s both breathable and durable enough for rock scrambles, roots, and rubbly descents.

A lightweight Vibram® SLE midsole adds just the right amount of cushion, while the exclusive Litebase® soleplate and 5mm Megagrip® lugs deliver the bite we need on loose or wet trail. The padded heel collar boosts comfort and ankle stability, and the eTPU insole returns energy on every push-off. Don't lose a toenail.

Familiarity:: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
Size Bought:: 9.5

The shoe is ridiculously comfortable, grippy and lightweight. I wanted to love it (especially given the price). That said, their sizing is... not quite up to par. I normally wear an 8 or 8.5 in normal street shoes and go up to 9 in sports shoes. In these I went up to 9.5 given all the other comments and still managed to lose one toenail on a 20-mile backcountry hike. It also lacks a hole for where you can lock in your ankle. Which tells me that despite being such a good shoe, they don't understand their user. It's hard to find these shoes (REI doesn't stock) so it has to be mailorder and so the sizing has to be better calibrated. And not having that second hole by the ankle says they don't understand women athletes. Anyways, Love the shoe on so many levels but had to return them and am giving myself a minute before I get the next bigger size. While my toe heals.
